The official Caliente Commander banlist, adopting Beta v0.1 as its baseline pending the first quarterly vote. One page, one list, each entry appearing exactly once, with the format-specific reasons attached to the format-specific bans. Changes land here and in the change log on the same day, and contested entries go to a ballot.
Baseline: the official Commander banned list
Cali Commander starts from the official Commander banned list. Categories first:
- All cards with the card type Conspiracy
- All cards that reference playing for ante
- Cards whose art, text, name, or combination thereof are racially or culturally offensive
- Lutri, the Spellchaser is banned as a companion

| The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale | Invalidates creature decks and go-wide strategies with one land. |
| Blood Moon | Creates early non-games against multi-color decks. See the open ballots for the Magus and Harbinger question this raises. |
| Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow | Extremely consistent pressure and card advantage from the command zone. Too fast and too inevitable for 1v1. |
| Winota, Joiner of Forces | Explosive snowball turns with little setup. One combat step can end meaningful play. |
| Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh (as commander) | Zero-mana command-zone access makes Partner starts too consistent. Banned as a commander only. |

Magus of the Moon, Harbinger of the Seas, Thassa's Oracle, and Ancient Tomb have open ballots for the October 1, 2026 window, along with a Blood Moon unban question. Vote on them.
