1. What this site is

calicommander.com is the official website and organizing body of Caliente Commander, officially abbreviated Cali Commander: a 1v1 Commander format with public governance, verified voting, and organized events. It is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, and it is not affiliated with any other group using a similar name. Magic: The Gathering and all card names are property of Wizards of the Coast. Card names are used here for identification and commentary.

2. Accounts

Signing in uses your Discord identity, requested with the minimum scope (who you are). One account per person. We can suspend accounts that stuff ballots, evade suspensions, or abuse the forms, and the suspension gets logged like everything else.

3. Voting

Votes on this site are public by design: your username appears next to your vote in the permanent record. Ballot results feed the quarterly review windows of the official format, applied as described on the rules page and recorded in the change log.

4. Your submissions

Content you submit through forms (contact messages, organizer inquiries) is stored and read. Do not submit anything illegal, private that is not yours, or abusive. We may quote submissions publicly only with your permission, except where the submission itself is an abuse report requiring action.

5. No warranty

The site is provided as is. We aim for every factual claim to be sourced, and corrections go through the contact page and get logged in the change log. But you use the site at your own risk and nothing here is legal, financial, or deckbuilding advice.

6. Changes to these terms

Terms changes are announced on the announcements page and recorded in the change log before they take effect. No silent edits. That is the entire ethos of this half of the site.
