Is Prophet of Kruphix legal?
Yes. Under the previous stewards it was banned at launch because the multiplayer ban list was copied wholesale, then unbanned overnight once players noticed its ability does nothing in 1v1, with the unban announced on Twitter. This FAQ exists so answers like that have a permanent home instead.
Is Magus of the Moon legal? Blood Moon is banned.
Legal, for now. So is Harbinger of the Seas. Whether that inconsistency survives the October window is an open ballot you can vote on.
Why 30 life?
A Discord poll with 58 voters chose it, 38 votes to 20. The rerun with verified accounts and a public tally is open on the vote page.
Is it best-of-one or best-of-three?
Undecided, and listed under openly undecided on the rules page, which is where undecided things belong. The structure for the first official tournament in Denver publishes with its full details on the events page.
Do I get to see vote results?
Yes. Live tallies on every ballot, a public append-only record of every vote with the voter attached, and participation counts on the stats page. Votes here are on the record by design.
What stops one person voting twice?
Accounts are Discord identities, one vote per account per ballot, votes changeable until close with every change logged. IPs are recorded on each vote for ballot-stuffing review and are never published.
Who runs this site?
The Caliente Commander organizing body. This is the official Cali Commander website. If you have encountered another group using the name, see the note on the front page; we keep receipts on their era of stewardship on the timeline.
Wait, Caliente Commander?
The official name is Caliente Commander. The official abbreviation is Cali Commander. Both facts became official at the same time, for reasons the front page explains with as much grace as the situation allows.
Is my deck legal?
If every card clears the banlist page and your commander is not banned as a commander, yes. The watch list does not affect legality.
